The start of the winter season in Gorky Park traditionally begins with the opening of the ice rink. "Navigator" will be a literally true winter journey. Adventures are just around the corner!
The design of "Navigator 20°20'- 20°21'" is not just about abstract forms. The brand identity canvas comprises an encryption of notable places in Russia. The ice rink will allow you to move to any latitude and longitude and to see, for example, Western and Eastern peaks of Mount Elbrus; diverging strings of steel cables of the Golden bridge in Vladivostok; the Fisht stadium in Sochi; the battlements of the «Swallow’s Nest» facade in Yalta; cutting through the fog rays of the Murmansk lighthouse; and, finally, the starting and finishing point of the journey – the Gorky Park main entrance.
We introduce several new regulations to ensure safe access to the rink this season:
- skating tickets are available online only;
- the visitors’ temperature is measured by a non-contact thermometer at the entrance;
- the pavilions are equipped with sanitizers and disinfectant lamps;
- wearing a mask and gloves is obligatory in the pavilions (if you do not have them, you can buy them in vending machines installed in the pavilions);
- rental skates will be further processed after each use;
- increased number of sessions will allow to monitor the visitor flows and provide sanitization and ventilation of pavilions during breaks.
There are several pavilions available this year. If you come to the rink without your own skates, then you should go to pavilion number one (pavilion "Start") just behind the Gorky Park main entrance where you can rent skates. The pavilion number two (pavilion "Meridian") is for those who bring their own skates; please note that it works on weekends only. Visitors who want to have a break at a cozy cafe before or after skating should choose pavilion number three (pavilion "Zenith") that is located deep in the park. Number five (pavilion "Farvater") is for visitors with kids: first of all, it is located by the children ice rink, secondly, it is easier to find rent skates of the appropriate size there, and, thirdly, “penguin assistants” are happy to help those who take first steps on the ice. This year the children ice rink has grown to 920 m2.
Four sessions with technical breaks after each of them will allow to pull apart the skaters’ flows, thus making skating as safe as possible. For those who get up early and like perfect ice there are shorter slots from 10 a.m. to 12p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and more favorable prices for them. You may also come to the rink in the evening from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. or from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday is a day-off.
A few words about safety measures: rental skates are further processed after each use, while disinfection and ventilation of pavilions is carried out during the breaks. In order for employees to have time to prepare the ice and premises for a new session, we kindly ask you to leave the ice on time.
Since this winter motto is “everything online”, the tickets are available on our website or the Yandex.Afisha service. Information about the prices you can find here.
There are several places where you can warm up and have a meal during skating. The "Ochag" (fireplace) zone is designed for a warm and comfortable stay on the ice rink. There are also more than 20 cafes and three food courts - in the "Ochag" zone, on the Central alley and on the Restoparking territory.
Mobile operator Tele2 will be the partner of the ice rink in Gorky Park for the second year in a row and will please its subscribers with bonuses. For example, Tele2 users will be able to buy tickets for any session with a 20% discount. They can also enjoy a cup of coffee for free and recharge their gadget in the "Ochag" zone. The operator will install a mirror photo zone on the ice rink where you can take beautiful photos.
We are waiting for you in Gorky Park!
